Equine Body Work

Oonagh trained with Equinenergy Ltd and is certified as an Equine Body Worker® by Equinology Inc. Further details can be found at www.equinenergy.com  and www.equinology.com. She is a member of The International Equine Body Worker Association.

As an EBW (Equine Body Worker) she is qualified in how to administer sports massage therapy to horses and ponies. This is a full body massage covering 80 point locations of soft tissue and muscular stress. Oonagh understands the safe application of sports massage and has a very good knowledge of musculo-skeletal anatomy and has studied equine science as part of her training. Also included in her training was an introduction to dental issues and saddle fitting as well as gait analysis and postural evaluation. Oonagh does favour using craniosacral and myofascial techniques as these have proven to be the most effective in a wide range of conditions in horses.
